Post Grand Canyon
Even though I live within a days drive, I felt like the only person that had never been to the Grand Canyon. So... my Wife and I headed out to Williams, AZ. Not only would this be my first time there, it was also going to be my inaugural journey with my new Canon 7D camera. Being mid March, I was hoping for some snow for effect, which we got.

After checking into the hotel, we figured we'd go ahead and and try to catch the sunset. As we got closer to the park, the cloudier it looked. Once we got to the first outlook, it started to snow.

I got a few pictures that afternoon, but the wind kicked up and it felt much colder than Alaska. We came back the next day and enjoyed some sunshine.

They are in Gallery > Destinations > U.S. - Arizona.

Thanks Scott and Pedro for looking!

Yes, unless you get adventurous and go hiking or on the mule tour, the viewing areas are pretty limited. Can't wait to go to the North Rim.

Nice thoughts..Learn While You're There. Get insider tips on where and how to shoot the canyon from one of the local photo workshops, such as those offered by Grand Canyon Field Institute and Friends of Arizona Highways...
